Sponsorship opportunities

Chefs.studio is the trusted knowledge platform for working chefs and kitchen operators. Practical content, Michelin-starred credibility, and a readership that makes real purchasing decisions — no home cooks, no food bloggers.

Why Partner with chefs.studio?

The professional kitchen is one of the most influential ; and most underserved ; environments in the food industry. The people who run them are not home cooks browsing recipes. They are head chefs, kitchen managers, and catering directors who make real purchasing decisions, specify suppliers, and set the operational standards their teams work to every day.

chefs. studio was built specifically for this audience. Founded by Michelin-starred chef Ian McAndrew and television producer Shaun Smith-Roberts, the platform delivers practical, authoritative content on kitchen management, food costing, team leadership, and operational efficiency ; the things working chefs actually need, written by people who have lived them at the highest level.

What makes chefs. Studio Different is not just the credentials behind it. It is the deliberate decision to keep the platform ad-free and editorially independent. Our readers come because they trust the voice. They stay because the content is genuinely useful. Average time on site is over four minutes ; chefs read, they don't skim.

A partnership with chefs. studio is not an advertising placement. It is an association with a platform that professional kitchens trust. Your brand reaches decision-makers at the moment they are looking for solutions ; not scrolling past an interruption.

We are looking for a small number of carefully chosen partners. If your customers work in professional kitchens, this is where they come for guidance.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Professional chefs are one of the most influential ; and hardest to reach ; audiences in the food industry. They specify suppliers, approve purchasing decisions, and set the operational standards that entire kitchen brigades work to. Yet most trade media either targets front-of-house, serves the restaurant owner, or produces content aimed at home cooks. The working chef ; the person actually running the kitchen ; has been largely ignored.

chefs. studio fills that gap.

Why, chefs? studio reaches them

Our content is written by a Michelin-starred chef, not a marketing agency. That distinction matters enormously to a professional audience. Experienced chefs are deeply sceptical of brand-led content ; they share knowledge through peer recommendation, not advertising. When Ian McAndrew writes about food cost management or kitchen leadership, chefs read it because they know it comes from someone who has stood where they stand.

The result is a readership that is genuinely engaged. Over 12,000 professionals visit the site every month. Average time on site exceeds four minutes. These are not casual browsers ; they are chefs looking for practical guidance they can apply on Monday morning.

Alongside editorial content, chefs.studio is building a suite of practical tools ; food cost calculators, recipe scaling tools, yield calculators, and HACCP templates ; that chefs return to repeatedly. These are not one-read articles. They are working resources embedded in daily kitchen practice.

Our editorial commitment

This is where chefs. studio is categorically different from trade advertising.

There are no banner ads on chefs. studio. There are no affiliate links, no paid search placements, and no sponsored listings disguised as editorial. Every commercial relationship on the platform is structured around contributing something genuinely useful to our readers ; and is clearly labelled as such.

This is not a moral stance. It is a practical one. The only reason for a partnership with chefs. studio carries value is because our audience trusts us. The moment that trust is compromised, the value disappears. We protect it accordingly.

Partners do not influence the editorial line of existing content. Sponsored content is co-created to Ian's standards and clearly attributed. Category exclusivity means your investment is protected ; once a partner is confirmed in your sector, that sector is closed.

Who this is right for

The Chefs.Studio audience makes purchasing decisions across every major category of professional kitchen supply. If your customers work in professional kitchens, they are already reading us.

The partnership model works best for organisations whose products or services are relevant to the day-to-day operation of a professional kitchen ; and who want to be associated with trusted, practical expertise rather than interruptive advertising. This includes foodservice equipment and smallwares suppliers, catering distributors and fresh produce wholesalers, kitchen linen and workwear suppliers, catering recruiters and hospitality HR platforms, kitchen management software and technology providers, food safety and compliance solution providers, and commercial kitchen design and fit-out companies.

If your sales team is already talking to head chefs and kitchen managers, chefs. studio gives your brand a presence in the conversations those people are having when they are not in a sales meeting ; when they are learning, planning, and making decisions.

Our Audience

Professional chefs are not a passive readership. They are the people who keep commercial kitchens running profitably, safely, and to standard. Understanding who they are is central to understanding why reaching them through chefs.studio matters.

Not home cooks. Not food bloggers.

The chefs.studio audience is made up entirely of working kitchen professionals. Our readers are not browsing for weekend recipe inspiration. They are looking for practical guidance on food costing, team management, supplier relationships, and operational systems. When they find something useful, they bookmark it, share it with colleagues, and come back.

Over 12,000 professionals visit the site every month. 78% are professional chefs. A further 14% are kitchen managers. Average time on site is 4.2 minutes, which in digital terms is exceptional. These figures reflect an audience that reads with purpose.

Who reads chefs.studio

Our readers span the full range of senior kitchen roles. Head Chefs and Executive Chefs form the largest segment, followed by Kitchen Managers and Sous Chefs, Catering Directors and F&B Managers, multi-site operational leads, and senior chefs looking to develop into management. These are not junior staff. They are the people who run brigades, set menus, manage budgets, and decide which suppliers their kitchens work with.

These are the people who matter to your business

The chefs.studio audience has direct influence over purchasing decisions at every level of kitchen operation. They approve supplier accounts, specify equipment purchases, recommend products to owners and operators, share resources and contacts between kitchens, and shape the standards that influence buying decisions across the industry.

Reaching one head chef through chefs.studio is not the same as one advertising impression. A head chef who trusts a recommendation will act on it, talk about it, and pass it on. That is the nature of how professional kitchens share knowledge.

Ian's trusted partners have included

Ian McAndrew's professional reputation spans decades at the highest levels of British and international hospitality. His partners, collaborators, and clients have included The Master Chefs of Great Britain, Visit South West Scotland, Marks and Spencer, and the NHS, among many others. That network of professional trust is the foundation on which chefs.studio is built, and it is what gives a partnership here a credibility that conventional advertising simply cannot replicate.

PARTNERSHIP PACKAGES

chefs.studio offers three tiers of commercial partnership, all built around the same principle: your brand is associated with content and tools that professional chefs find genuinely useful. There are no banner placements, no rate cards sold to the highest bidder, and no packages that exist simply to fill inventory. Every tier is designed to deliver real value to our readers first, and real value to our partners as a result.

Category exclusivity is available at Studio tier and above. Once a partner is confirmed within a sector, that sector is closed to competing brands.

Essential -- £750 per month

The Essential tier places your brand on practical tools that chefs use as part of their daily kitchen routine. Food cost calculators, recipe scaling tools, and yield calculators carry a discreet "Powered by" credit that connects your name with something genuinely useful. Essential also includes a partner spotlight in our monthly newsletter, a standard listing in Ian's Recommended Suppliers directory, and a quarterly performance report with readership data.

Studio -- £1,800 per month

Studio builds on Essential with a more substantial editorial presence. Two co-created content pieces per quarter are written in Ian's voice, using your organisation's expertise as source material. These pieces live permanently on the site, carry a clear partnership attribution, and rank in search. Studio also includes a branded downloadable template with your logo, featured placement in the supplier directory, two job board posts per month, and full category exclusivity within your sector.

Partner -- Price on application

The Partner tier is for organisations that want a deeper, more integrated relationship with chefs.studio. It includes full category exclusivity, unlimited co-created content, a sponsored webinar or live Q&A event with Ian McAndrew, unlimited job board posts, and priority placement across all site properties. Bespoke partnership elements -- including product features, sponsored tools built around your offer, and custom content formats -- are available and encouraged at this tier.

Bespoke relationships

We recognise that the most valuable commercial partnerships do not always fit neatly into a predefined package. If none of the tiers above quite match your objectives, we are very open to building something from scratch. Perhaps you want to sponsor a specific content series, co-develop a tool that serves your customers directly, or create a branded resource that lives on chefs.studio and carries your name indefinitely. If the idea puts something genuinely useful in front of professional chefs and fits our editorial values, we want to hear it.

All packages and bespoke proposals begin with a no-obligation introductory call. We will not push you to commit at that stage -- we would far rather find the right fit than agree to something that does not serve either party well.

HOW IT WORKS

Every format on chefs.studio is designed around the same idea: your brand appears in front of professional chefs at the moment they are solving a real problem. Not interrupting them, not competing for their attention against seven other placements on the same page. Simply being present, usefully, in a context they trust.

Here is how each format works in practice.

Sponsored Tools

chefs.studio is building a suite of interactive calculators and reference tools that professional chefs use as part of their daily kitchen routine. Food cost percentage calculators, recipe scaling tools, kitchen yield calculators, and labour cost tools carry a discreet "Powered by [Brand]" credit. Chefs return to these tools repeatedly. Over time, your name becomes associated with something they rely on rather than something they scroll past. The sponsorship sits lightly on the tool and does not interrupt the experience.

Sponsored Content

Ian co-creates a practical guide or article using your organisation's knowledge as the source material. A refrigeration supplier, for example, might provide data on cold-chain best practice; Ian writes the guide that chefs actually want to read. A linen company could share laundry cost benchmarks; Ian turns it into a kitchen management resource. The finished piece carries a clear "In partnership with [Brand]" label, lives permanently on the site, and ranks in search. You contribute the expertise. Ian provides the voice and the audience.

Branded Downloads

Prep sheets, HACCP checklists, staff briefing templates, scheduling tools. Chefs download these, print them, and pin them to the wall. Your logo is on every copy, in every kitchen that uses them. These resources get passed between colleagues, shared in WhatsApp groups, and saved for repeated use. They represent some of the most durable brand presence available on the platform, because they leave the screen entirely and enter working kitchens as physical objects.

Newsletter Spotlight

A monthly digest goes to our subscriber list of professional chefs and kitchen managers. One partner per issue, one brief and useful message, in a clean editorial environment with no competing placements. The newsletter goes to people who have actively chosen to receive it, which means the engagement rates are genuine.

Recommended Suppliers

Ian's curated directory of suppliers he trusts and would recommend to a colleague. Inclusion in the directory is not simply for sale. It is earned through the quality and relevance of what you offer. Featured placement within the directory is available to Studio partners and above. Being on this list carries genuine weight precisely because it cannot be bought outright.

Job Board

The chefs.studio job board allows recruiters, operators, and hospitality businesses to post roles directly to a professional audience. Head chefs, sous chefs, kitchen managers, and catering directors visit the platform regularly. Posting here means your vacancy reaches experienced kitchen professionals without competing against the volume and noise of consumer job sites.

NEXT STEPS

We are looking for a small number of carefully chosen commercial partners. This is not an advertising network with unlimited inventory and an automated checkout. It is a small collection of relationships, built around shared credibility and a genuine commitment to putting something useful in front of professional chefs.

If that sounds like the right environment for your brand, we would very much like to hear from you.

Category exclusivity: act sooner rather than later

Category exclusivity is available at Studio tier and above, and it is allocated on a first-confirmed basis. Once a partner is in place within a sector, that sector is closed to competing brands for the duration of the partnership. If you are in a category where being the only voice matters, the right time to get in touch is now, not after someone else has confirmed.

What happens next

Getting started is straightforward and there is no obligation at any stage until both parties are satisfied the partnership is right.

Get in touch by email to register your interest and tell us a little about your organisation and what you are hoping to achieve. We will come back to you promptly to arrange a short introductory call. On that call, we will listen to your objectives, share more detail about our audience and formats, and between us work out whether there is a good fit and which tier or bespoke arrangement suits you best. If we agree to proceed, we will put together a simple partnership proposal for your review. There is no pressure to commit at the introductory call stage and no hard sell at any point. We would rather spend that time finding the right fit than pushing you towards something that does not serve you well.

Get in touch

The best way to start a conversation is by email. Ian and Shaun are both actively involved in all partnership discussions and you will be speaking directly with the founders, not a sales team.

We look forward to hearing from you.
